Deposits & Payments

At The Boho Haus, we value your time as well as our own and strive to provide a smooth, intentional experience from booking to service completion.

To reserve your appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking unless otherwise noted. This deposit secures your appointment time and allows for service preparation. All deposits are applied toward the total cost of your service.

Please note:

  • Deposits become non-refundable 48 hours after booking.

  • Certain services may not require a deposit; however, card information is required to secure the appointment.

  • Card information is stored securely and will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.

Cancellations & Reschedules

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so through your booking confirmation email no later than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

  • Deposits may be transferred one (1) time to a rescheduled appointment.

  • Rescheduled appointments using a transferred deposit must be booked and completed within thirty (30) calendar days of the original appointment date.

  • Appointments not rescheduled within this timeframe will require a new deposit.

  • Reschedule requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Late Cancellation/No-Shows

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time or failure to arrive for your appointment will result in a fee.

  • For services that do not require a deposit, a 20% fee of the total service cost will be charged to the card on file.

  • Deposits for late cancellations or no-shows are forfeited.

In the rare event that The Boho Haus must cancel your appointment, your deposit will be refunded in full within one (1) hour of cancellation. If rescheduling is offered and accepted, a courtesy discount will be applied to your rescheduled service.

Refunds 

All deposits become non-refundable 48 hours after booking.

Due to the nature of hair services, refunds are not offered. If you are dissatisfied with your service, please reach out within three (3) days of your appointment so your concern can be reviewed and addressed appropriately.

House Calls Services

Eligibility

  • Mobile services are available for clients who prefer the convenience of on-location styling.

  • A verified service address must be provided at the time of booking and is subject to approval.

  • Appointments booked without meeting travel requirements may be canceled.

    Booking and Fees

  • The total travel fee will be calculated and added to the service cost.

  • Appointments must be booked at least 72 hours in advance to allow proper scheduling and travel arrangements.

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total service and travel fee is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.

Timing, Arrival & Setup

  • Arrival times are approximate. Please allow a 20–35 minute arrival window to account for traffic and unforeseen delays.

  • Upon arrival, approximately 30 minutes is required for equipment setup, sanitization, and hair preparation before the service begins. This time is a necessary part of providing quality, safe, and efficient service.

  • Clients must be present and ready upon arrival. If the client is unavailable 15 minutes after arrival, the appointment may be canceled and the deposit forfeited.

Safety and Environment

To ensure a comfortable experience for both the client and stylist:

  • Clients are asked to provide a clean, well-lit space with a sturdy chair and sufficient room for setup.

  • We love animals and understand they are part of the home. Pets do not need to be confined for the duration of the appointment. However, if a pet is not accustomed to strangers, becomes overly curious, or interferes with the service, we kindly ask that they be kept away from the immediate service area.

  • Any additional individuals present during the appointment should be disclosed ahead of time.

For safety reasons, The Boho Haus reserves the right to decline or discontinue service if the environment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable upon arrival. In such cases, the appointment will be canceled and the deposit forfeited.

Payments

Full payment, including travel fees, is due at the completion of the service. Accepted payment methods include credit cards and approved electronic payments.

Social Media & Privacy 

By booking with The Boho Haus, you acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken during your service for marketing purposes, including social media, website content, and promotional materials.

Client comfort and privacy are always respected, and content is shared thoughtfully and with care.
